-
I don't want to do templates and pictures but still need help selecting a saddle, can you help?"Simple answer is NO! Long answer is, its impossible to guide you without all the relevant information, a verbal conversation about the horse or rider will never give all the information needed. The small amount of information given in a conversation is enough to use the filters on the website and select the correct seat size, gullet width etc. you can do this yourself.
-
Can I talk to someone about what saddles might suit my horse? Its not possible to recommend saddles from a phone chat, refer to our saddle selection help page for how we can help.
-
I don't have access to a scanner, can I send a photo of the template?"No a photos can not be printed as an exact copy of the original. Most printers are scanners so finding a scanner is not usualy difficult, most businesses, libraries, post offices and most homes have a printer/scanner. If you have a mobile phone or Ipad you can use the Adobe scan app, its free to use.
-
Can I use a scanning app?The only scanning app we have found to be accurate is Adobe scan this is free to use. Do make sure to hold the camera directly above the paper to ensure you get an accurate image. If you use any other app print a copy yourself, lay it over your original template and check that it sits directly on top of the original templates lines, even if it sits out by .5cm it will give us the wrong angle. .5cm is a gullet size, so accuracy is important.
